Senior Rust Engineer

Inversed Tech is looking for a Senior Software Rust Engineer to join our core engineering team.

We work on privacy-first techniques, mostly built with Rust. Technologies include zero-knowledge proofs, secure multiparty computation, elliptic curve cryptography, advanced blockchain state management and other cutting edge cryptographic techniques.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software features
• Implement novel cryptographic protocols
• Being able to take part in various stages of project development: from prototyping to deployment and maintaining a codebase
• Writing, updating and maintaining documentation, specifications and other written resources
• Lead projects from a technical perspective, being able to define concrete goals, and work with a small technical team to deliver high-quality software

Key Qualifications

If you identify with all or most of these, there is a high probability that you will thrive in the role and enjoy while doing so:

• A great positive attitude, effective communication skills, and a strong sense of ownership and independence
• BSc or MSc in computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience working on backend system services, such as databases, distributed systems, real time applications, etc.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code in Rust
• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

Good-to-have Qualifications

You are definitely a fit if you also have:

• Knowledge of advanced cryptography: ZK, zkVM, MPC, FHE
• Programming experience on GPU or some specialized ISA or VM
• Being able to deliver high-performance code at various levels: write CPU based instructions such as AVX or SSE, investigate memory leaks, optimize CPU usage
